I was born in Chagrin Falls, Ohio in June of 1986. Since then I have lived in suburban Philadelphia and now in Baltimore, Maryland, where I attended the Maryland Institute College of Art and graduated summa cum laude in May of 2009. I like grilled cheese sandwiches and Sci-Fi Channel original movies. My work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators NY (2008 Zankel Scholarship finalist), Society of Illustrators LA (issue 47), Spectrum (issue 16 issue 17), the American Illustration 28 web gallery, as well as on Drawn! the illustration and cartooning blog. My first comic, The Magnificent Zhao, can be found in Popgun volume 3, from Image Comics, which won the 2010 Eisner Award for Best Anthology. Clients include The New Yorker, Plansponsor, The Stranger, Gulf Life, Paste Magazine, Seattle Weekly, Cicada Magazine, Muse Magazine, and others. You can contact me through email or through the telephone. If you are so inclined, I'd love it if you checked out my blog for the most recent updates and for general inconsequentia. I also participate in the group project Picturebook Report. telephone: (610) 322 2923 |
